Czochralski growth by the double container technique
Journal of Crystal Growth, 1983Abstract A new technique for pulling single crystals from directly heated melts is described. It is called the double container technique (DC technique). The essential characteristics of this technique are an adjustable but constant melt height, the availability of a large melt reservoir with a limited effective melt volume in the environment of the ...

Anomalies in crystal growth by Czochralski technique
Journal of Crystal Growth, 1993Abstract Single crystals of CaNdAIO 4 (CNA) and SrLaAIO 4 (SLA) were grown by the Czochralski technique. The anisotropic properties of the compounds are reflected in the process of crystal growth. A flat crystal/melt interface is unstable and crystals grow on {101} type planes which form the convex growth surface.

Li2100deplMoO4 crystals grown by low-thermal-gradient Czochralski technique
Journal of Crystal Growth, 2020Abstract For the first time, Li2MoO4crystals depleted in molybdenum-100 (100Mo) isotope were grown by Czochralski technique under low thermal gradient conditions (LTG Cz) that made it possible to obtain large crystals of given geometry and required quality.

Crystal growth by the Electrochemical Czochralski Technique (ECT)
Journal of Crystal Growth, 1976Abstract A technique for growing large single crystals has been developed which combines electrochemical crystallization from molten salt solutions with the crystal pulling method. This hybrid system, the electrochemical Czochralski technique (ECT), was successfully used to grow large sodium tungsten bronze (Na x WO 3 ) crystals.

Growth of germanium single crystals by Czochralski technique
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2012Single crystals of germanium along and were grown using the Czochralski technique. These were the preliminary experiments to check the feasibility to grow high pure germanium for detector application. Effect of pull rates and orientation on the dislocation density was studied as it is the crucial parameter for the detector grade crystals.

Model experiments for the Czochralski crystal growth technique
The European Physical Journal Special Topics, 2013A lot of the physical and the numerical modeling of Czochralski crystal growth is done on the generic Rayleigh-Benard system. To better approximate the conditions in a Czochralski puller, the influences of a rounded crucible bottom, deviations of the thermal boundary conditions from the generic case, crucible and/or crystal rotation, and the influence ...

Growth of Rb2CrCl4 crystals by the Czochralski technique
Journal of Crystal Growth, 1976Abstract Single crystals of Rb 2 CrCl 4 , up to 2 cm 3 in volume, have been obtained by the Czochralski technique. The crystals are superior to those grown by the Bridgman-Stockbarger method and reported previously.

Segregation in YVO4 single crystals grown by Czochralski technique
Materials Letters, 1995Abstract SEM-EDS investigations on cleavaged (100) planes of YVO 4 single crystals grown from the melt indirectly indicate a very limited homogeneous solid solution region in the Y 2 O 3 -V 2 O 5 − x phase system around the 50.7 ± 0.2 mol% Y 2 O 3 quasi congruent composition corresponding to the maximum melting (freezing) point at slightly ...
