Research on One-to-Two Internal Resonance of Sling and Beam of Suspension Sling–Beam System

open access: yesBuildings, 2023
An approach is presented to investigate the 1:2 internal resonance of the sling and beam of a suspension sling–beam system. The beam was taken as the geometrically linear Euler beam, and the sling was considered to be geometrically nonlinear. The dynamic

The fractional d'Alembert's formulas

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 2019
In this paper we develop generalized d'Alembert's formulas for abstract fractional integro-differential equations and fractional differential equations on Banach spaces. Some examples are given to illustrate our abstract results, and the probability interpretation of these fractional d'Alembert's formulas are also given.

A d’Alembert Formula for Hopf Hypersurfaces [PDF]

open access: yesResults in Mathematics, 2011
A Hopf hypersurface in complex hyperbolic space CH^n is one in which the complex structure applied to the normal vector is a principal direction at each point. In this paper, Hopf hypersurfaces for which the corresponding principal curvature is small (relative to the ambient sectional curvature) are studied by means of a generalized Gauss map into a ...

Exact noise cancellation for 1D-acoustic propagation systems

open access: yes, 2022
International audienceThis paper deals with active noise control applied to a one-dimensional acoustic propagation system. The aim here is to keep over time a zero noise level at a given point.

To the question of a multipoint mixed boundary value problem for a wave equation

open access: yes, 2019
It is well known that some problems in mechanics and physics lead to partial differential equations of the hyperbolic type. A classical example of the hyperbolic type is wave equation. When posed, the task sometimes lacks the classical boundary condition

Nonlinear Vibration Characteristic Analysis of Electric Vehicle–Road Coupling System

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In‐wheel motor drive is the developing direction of automobile electrification and intelligence. However, the increased unsprung mass in in‐wheel motor‐driven electric vehicles (IWMEVs) leads to higher dynamic tire loads, thereby intensifying vehicle–road coupling interactions. To address this problem, an 11‐degree‐of‐freedom nonlinear dynamic

Mixed Super‐Circles

open access: yesComputer Graphics Forum, EarlyView.
Abstract We introduce mixed super‐circles, a position‐curvature formulation of the original dynamic 2D super‐helix model. Compared to the latter, purely curvature‐based model – the so‐called chained formulation –, the mixed formulation that we propose here drastically reduces the algorithmic complexity of the solving scheme – from quadratic to quasi ...

On the Četaev Condition for Nonholonomic Systems

open access: yesAppliedMath
In the context of holonomic systems, the identification of virtual displacements is clear and consolidated. This provides the possibility, once the class of displacements have been coupled with Newton’s equations, for us to write the correct equations of

Topographical Features of the Lunar Surface Unveiled Through Spherical Geodesic Triangulation Analysis Method of DEM Roughness at Equal Spatial Scales

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, Volume 13, Issue 4, April 2026.
Abstract This study introduces an innovative method using equal spherical geodesic triangulation to uniformly sample the digital elevation model (DEM) of the lunar surface, ensuring an even distribution of elevation data. Utilizing spherical spline fitting, we have proposed new methods for calculating slope angles and aspects. An equilateral triangular
