Methods for describing the reactivity of transition metal nanoparticles

open access: yesФизико-химические аспекты изучения кластеров, наноструктур и наноматериалов, 2022
Using modern calculations from first principles, in this work we systematically studied the adsorption of atomic oxygen on the surface of nanoparticles of fcc metals Ag, Cu, Pd consisting of 79 atoms. Two models were considered to describe the reactivity

Revisiting catalytic performance of supported metal dimers for oxygen reduction reaction via magnetic coupling from first principles

open access: yesAdvanced Powder Materials, 2022
In this study, we selected 10 Co-based double-atom catalysts (DACs) catalysts, namely CoMN6-gra(OH) (M = Sc, Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn), and investigated their oxygen reduction reactions (ORR) catalytic performances with/without considering the

Light doping of tungsten into copper-platinum nanoalloys for boosting their electrocatalytic performance in methanol oxidation

open access: yesNano Research Energy, 2022
Coupling the bi-functional mechanism with compressive lattice strain might be an effective way to boost the electrocatalysis of platinum (Pt)-based nanoparticles for methanol oxidation reaction (MOR).

Machine-learning prediction of the d-band center for metals and bimetals

open access: yesRSC Advances, 2016
The d-band centers for eleven metals and their pairwise bimetals for two different structures (1% metal doped- or overlayer-covered metal surfaces) are statistically predicted using machine learning methods from readily available values as descriptors for the target metals.

Preparation of Ag0 Nanoparticles by EDM Method as Catalysts for Oxygen Reduction

open access: yesMetals, 2021
At present, platinum-based catalysts are the best cathode catalysts, but due to their high prices, they are difficult to use widely. Under alkaline conditions, silver is a better low-cost substitute.

A D-Band Amplifier in 65 nm Bulk CMOS for Short-Distance Data Center Communication

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
A novel pole-tuning technique with T-type network for interstage bandwidth extension is proposed in this paper. By exploiting the proposed technique in interstage of amplifiers, the transfer function of each stage exhibits two dominant poles, achieving a flat gain-frequency response over an ultrawide bandwidth.
