24,25,28-Trihydroxyvitamin D2 and 24,25,26-trihydroxyvitamin D2: novel metabolites of vitamin D2
Biochemistry, 1990Understanding of the inactivation pathways of 25-hydroxyvitamin D2 and 24-hydroxyvitamin D2, the two physiologically significant monohydroxylated metabolites of vitamin D2, is of importance, especially during hypervitaminosis D2. In a recent study, it has been demonstrated that the inactivation of 24-hydroxyvitamin D2 occurs through its conversion into

Cyclobutanone‐3,3‐d2 and trimethylene‐2,2‐d2
Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals, 1999An efficient five-step synthesis of cyclobutanone-3,3-d2 is reported. This ketone gives direct access through laser flash photolysis to the trimethylene-2,2-d2 diradical. The life-time of trimethylene-2,2-d2 provides an experimental showing that trimethylene and deuterium-labeled trimethylene diradicals decay to form cyclopropanes, rather than propenes.

Collision-induced fundamental band of D2 in D2–N2 and D2–CO mixtures
Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer, 2004Abstract Enhancement spectra of the collision-induced absorption of the infrared fundamental band of D2 in D2–N2 and D2–CO binary mixtures were recorded at 298 K with an absorption cell of sample pathlength 105.2 cm . Five base densities of D2 in the range 12–20 amagat and several total gas densities of the mixtures up to 130 amagat ...
