Statistical characterization of piezoelectric coefficient d23 in cow bone

Journal of Biomechanics, 1999
In a newly developed, highly sensitive dilatometer we applied pulsatile electric fields to five dry bone samples cut from mid-tibial sections within a 90 degrees angle from the rear to front axis. Samples of five cows were studied. We measured the piezoelectric coefficient d23 establishing its mean and confidence interval for the first time.

Aβ40-Lactam(D23/K28) Models a Conformation Highly Favorable for Nucleation of Amyloid

Biochemistry, 2005
Recent solid-state NMR data (1) demonstrate that Abeta(1)(-)(40) adopts a conformation in amyloid fibrils with two in-register, parallel beta-sheets, connected by a bend structure encompassing residues D(23)VGSNKG(29), with a close contact between the side chains of Asp23 and Lys28.

The effect of heating on the respiration of MC7 and D23 tumour tissue

Journal of Thermal Biology, 1987
Abstract The sensitivity of the tissue respiration of two tumours and liver slices to heat has been studied. The tumour tissue is sensitive to in vitro preincubation at temperatures above 43°C, whereas liver slices were less temperature sensitive. The inclusion of 1 mM tetracaine during preincubation sensitizes the tumour tissue to heating.

Enhancing Intrusion Detection Systems with Recurrent Neural Networks in D23 Deep Learning

International Journal of Innovative Research in Engineering
Strong cybersecurity safeguards are increasingly necessary as the digital landscape changes to protect sensitive data and vital infrastructure. To detect and reduce any risks to network security, intrusion detection systems, or IDS, are essential.

Serum factors modifying cell mediated immunity to rat hepatoma D23 correlated with tumour growth

International Journal of Cancer, 1975
Sera from rats bearing a progressively growing transplanted aminoazo‐dye‐induced hepatoma (hepatoma D23) have been examined for the presence of hepatoma D23‐specific antigen, antibody and immune complexes throughout the course of tumour growth.
