Facile synthesis and high d33 of single-crystalline KNbO3 nanocubes
Chemical Communications, 2008Single-crystalline KNbO(3) nanocubes with orthorhombic phase were prepared in a large scale by a simple one-step molten salt route without using any surfactant as template; the nanostructures exhibited high piezoelectric properties such as d(33)=105 pC/N and k(p)=0.34 as piezoelectric materials.

0–3 Piezoelectric composite film with high d33 coefficient

In our experiments, 0–3 composite piezoelectric films are prepared and treated in a solvent for a period of time, and their piezoelectric properties are measured.

Lead zirconate titanate films for d33 mode cantilever actuators
Sensors and Actuators A: Physical, 2003Abstract Piezoelectric Pb(Zr 0.52 Ti 0.48 )O 3 (PZT 52/48) cantilever actuators that operate in the d 33 mode were fabricated using surface micromaching techniques. The cantilevers are composed of a PZT thin film on a low stress silicon nitride (Si x N y ) support buffered by a layer of ZrO 2 .

Study of a piezoelectric accelerometer based on d33 mode
2016 Symposium on Piezoelectricity, Acoustic Waves, and Device Applications (SPAWDA), 2016A piezoelectric accelerometer based on d33 mode was studied in this work. It is comprised of multiple cantilever beams to support a central seismic mass. The piezoelectric PZT thin films and interdigital (IDT) electrodes are designed to be deposited on the surface of beams. The PZT thin film was in-plane polarized and worked in d33 mode.

Acoustoelectric probe for d33 measurement on piezoelectric thin films
Review of Scientific Instruments, 2003An acoustoelectric probe capable of measuring the d33 constant of piezoelectric thin films is presented. The principle used is the direct piezoelectric effect: a mechanical stress is applied to the film surface and the subsequent voltage generated is measured and compared with a reference.

Enhanced d33 value in HfO2-modified (Ba0.98Ca0.02)(Ti0.94Sn0.06)O3 ceramics
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2013Abstract In this work, the HfO2 has been used to improve the piezoelectric behavior of (Ba0.98Ca0.02)(Ti0.94Sn0.06)O3 (BCTS) lead-free ceramics prepared by the conventional solid-state method. The addition of HfO2 cannot change the phase structure of BCTS ceramics, showing the formation of an orthorhombic phase.

Design and fabrication of a D33-mode piezoelectric micro-accelerometer
Microsystem Technologies, 2019In this paper, a D33-mode piezoelectric micro-accelerometer with Pb1.1(Zr0.52Ti0.48)O3(PZT) thin film is designed, fabricated and tested. Both the polarization and deformation directions of the piezoelectric thin film are horizontal in this structure.
