D0-D4 system and QCD_{3+1} [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We consider a $(3+1)$-dimensional QCD model using a dual supergravity description with a non-extremal $D0$-$D4$ brane background. We calculate the spectrum of glueball masses and Wilson loops in the background. The mass spectrum is shown to coincide with

D4 - Continuous CLC

open access: yes, 2023
In this deliverable we present tests with glycerol and pyrolysis oil in a continuous Chemical Looping Plant, equipped to work with liquid fuels. Bio-oil is the main product of fast pyrolysis of biomass, and it has a higher volumetric energy density than the raw biomass. Glycerol is the waste product of biodiesel supply chain.

Strategi Budaya melalui Mobilisasi Masyarakat untuk Membuat, Mengedarkan, dan Menonton Film Di Purbalingga

open access: yesJurnal Kajian Seni, 2019
Terdapat agenda

Meta-Stable Brane Configurations with Seven NS5-Branes

open access: yes, 2007
We present the intersecting brane configurations consisting of NS-branes, D4-branes(and anti D4-branes) and O6-plane, of type IIA string theory corresponding to the meta-stable nonsupersymmetric vacua in four dimensional N=1 supersymmetric SU(N_c) x SU ...

Erythropoietin modulates hepatic inflammation, glucose homeostasis, and soluble epoxide hydrolase and epoxides in high‐fat diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Prediction of Tsunamis in Indonesia Using an Optimized Neural Network with SMOTE

open access: yesSistemasi: Jurnal Sistem Informasi
Tsunamis have the potential to have a large impact on the environment, therefore early detection and preparation for tsunami need to be carried out to reduce the impact of casualties and losses incurred.

Cherry and Fresh Market Tomatoes: Differences in Chemical, Morphological, and Sensory Traits and Their Implications for Consumer Acceptance

open access: yesAgronomy, 2018
The tomato commercial groups cherry and fresh market, mainly classified by fruit size, have clearly segregated markets. We aimed to estimate the variation within and between these groups and to analyze factors that impact consumer acceptance. To this end,

Exotic polarizations of D2 branes and oblique vacua of (S)YM$_{2+1}$

open access: yes, 2000
We investigate the oblique vacua in the perturbed 2+1 dimensional gauge theory living on D2 branes. The string theory dual of these vacua is expected to correspond to polarizations of the D2 branes into NS5 branes with D4 brane charge.

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.
