Finite isospin density probe for conformality
A new method of employing an isospin chemical potential for QCD-like theories with different number of colors, number of fermion flavors, and in different fermion representations is proposed.

The authors propose the total supply capability (TSC) of the low‐voltage flexible distribution network (LVFDN) for the first time. The influence mechanism for low‐voltage flexible interconnection on TSC is quantitatively analysed with a case study. Furthermore, suggestions for the planning and operation of LVFDN are given.

Recently, the D0 collaboration reported a large CP violation in the same-sign dimuon charge asymmetry which has the $3.2 \sigma$ deviation from the value estimated in the Standard Model. In this paper, several new physics models are considered: the MSSM,

Incentive contracts when agents distort probabilities
I show that stochastic contracts generate powerful incentives when agents suffer from probability distortion. When implementing these contracts, the principal can target probability distortions in order to inflate the agent's perceived benefits of exerting high levels of effort.

Why do countries in financial distress strategically delay seeking help?
The paper differs from current literature by providing a systematic analysis of the relationship between sovereign debt, financial distress and political career concerns via a novel game-theoretic model, in order to analyze the strategic behavior of ...

Extended gauge invariance and electroweak interactions [PDF]
Gauge invariance is extended to allow to allow for a U(1)-SU(2) mixing term, which can cause a SU(2) deconfining transition.

Efficient incentives with social preferences
We explore mechanism design with outcome‐based social preferences. Agents' social preferences and private payoffs are all subject to asymmetric information. We assume quasi‐linear utility and independent types. We show how the asymmetry of information about agents' social preferences can be operationalized to satisfy agents' participation constraints ...

Massive Gravity Theories and limits of Ghost-free Bigravity models [PDF]
We construct a class of theories which extend New Massive Gravity to higher orders in curvature in any dimension. The lagrangians arise as limits of a new class of bimetric theories of Lovelock gravity, which are unitary theories free from the Boulware ...

Robust performance evaluation of independent agents
A principal provides incentives for independent agents. The principal cannot observe the agents' actions, nor does she know the entire set of actions available to them. It is shown that an anti‐informativeness principle holds: very generally, robustly optimal contracts must link the incentive pay of the agents.
