Evaluating use of extant species response to invasive predator control as an indicator of functional eradication to support species reintroductions

The removal of brown treesnakes resulted in an increase in the number of lizards already present that were counted in a treated area. We used this increase as a trigger to reintroduce three lizard species no longer present in the area, likely due to predation by the snake.
