A checklist of the dacine fruit flies (Diptera, Tephritidae, Dacinae) of Mozambique
Here we present a checklist of all records of dacine fruit flies (Diptera: Tephritidae: Dacinae) from Mozambique, based on verified specimen records in natural history collections and literature records. In total, 57 Dacinae species are recorded from Mozambique, of which only one is considered endemic.

Pest categorisation of non‐EU Tephritidae
Abstract The Panel on Plant Health performed a group pest categorisation of non‐EU Tephritidae, a large insect family containing well‐studied and economically important fruit fly species and little studied species with scarce information regarding their hosts and species that do not feed on plants.

Responses of fruit flies (Tephritidae: Dacinae) to novel male attractants in north Queensland, Australia, and improved lures for some pest species [PDF]
Male fruit fly attractants, cue-lure and methyl eugenol (ME), have been successfully used for the last 50 years in the monitoring and control of Dacini fruit flies (Bactrocera and Dacus species).
