Electrophoretic variation in four specific proteins, an alcohol dehydrogenase, and an octanol dehydrogenase from adult body homogenates, an esterase from adult heads, and a tyrosinase from larval hemolymph, is described for laboratory populations of two sibling species, Dacus tryoni and Dacus neohumeralis.
