Objective Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is the cornerstone of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) management with benefits extending beyond SLE control, including protection against atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Although HCQ blood levels reflect recent exposure and long‐term intake reflects medication adherence, the impact of longitudinal ...

Interstitial lung disease (IRD‐ILD) is a significant cause of morbidity and mortality in patients with inflammatory rheumatic disorders (IRD). High‐resolution computed tomography (HRCT) is widely considered the gold standard for the non‐invasive assessment of ILD; however, its interpretation is constrained by substantial inter‐observer variability and ...

Co‐assembly of rationally designed glycosaminoglycan‐binding peptides with sulfated glycosaminoglycans yields supramolecular hydrogels with tunable mechanics and matrix‐mediated cytokine retention. The glycosaminoglycans thereby act as cofactors, driving a coil‐to‐β‐sheet transition that triggers gelation.

Daily dialysis and survival rates of vascular access
EDTNA-ERCA Journal, 2000SummaryA major cause of morbidity for haemodialysis patients is vascular access failure and/or occlusion. It is commonly believed that increased frequency of dialysis sessions, among other factors, might lead to higher rates of fistula complications.
