This systematic review and meta‐analysis summarise the epidemiology of bovine herpesvirus‐1 (BoHV‐1) infection in dairy cattle in Ethiopia. Analysis of 9 studies involving 5078 cattle revealed a high pooled seroprevalence of 46.02%, with higher estimates from c‐ELISA and an increasing temporal trend from 2018 to 2025.

ABSTRACT This study aimed to establish reference ultrasonographic parameters for the liver and spleen in 34 healthy Saanen goats. The spleen was visualized between the 12th and 8th intercostal spaces (ICS), with homogeneous parenchyma and a hyperechoic capsule and splenic vein with a mean diameter of 3.3 ± 0.9 mm.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the predictions of the small ruminant nutrition system (SRNS) for the digestibility of dietary nutrients and the energy requirements of goats in early lactation. Forty‐eight Alpine goats were assigned to a completely randomized design. During 8 weeks of lactation, six goats were slaughtered per week.
