Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.We documented 245 tiger attacks on humans (141 fatalities) during 2010–2024 in Nepal. Most of the attacks (> 90%) occurred inside forest areas. Men were attacked more frequently (65.3%) but fatality was higher among women (> 70%). The majority of the victims (93%) had education of secondary level or below.
