Anisotropic damage law of evolution
European Journal of Mechanics - A/Solids, 2000A formulation for anisotropic damage is established in the framework of strain equivalence. The model involves two elastic parameters of the virgin, initially isotropic material, five parameters for damage, and three additional parameters for low-cycle fatigue, high-cycle fatigue and fracture in tension.

Evolution of DNA damage in irradiated cells
Journal of Mathematical Biology, 1992Ionizing radiation damage to a mammalian genome is modeled using continuous time Markov chains. Models are given for the initial infliction of DNA double strand breaks by radiation and for the enzymatic processing of this initial damage. Damage processing pathways include DNA double strand break repair and chromosome exchanges.
