Energy decay of a variable-coefficient wave equation with nonlinear time-dependent localized damping
We study the energy decay for the Cauchy problem of the wave equation with nonlinear time-dependent and space-dependent damping. The damping is localized in a bounded domain and near infinity, and the principal part of the wave equation has a variable-

Squeezing effect induced by the Joule heat of resistance in mesoscopic steady-state circuit [PDF]
Building on Louisell’s proposal for a quantization scheme of a mesoscopic LC electric circuit treated as a harmonic oscillator, we establish that when a LC circuit includes a resistance R, its ground state is a squeezed vacuum state of the enforced ...

Direct Growth of 2D Bilayers on Au(111) for Low‐Coercive Sliding Ferroelectricity
Controlled CVD growth of stacking‐defined bilayer ReS2 on Au(111) enables parallel‐stacked bilayers with intrinsic sliding ferroelectricity, a strong piezoelectric response, and an ultralow coercive voltage. Atomic‐resolution imaging and in situ measurements further reveal the decisive role of clean interfaces in achieving low‐barrier ferroelectric ...

A Universal van der Waals Tunneling Injector for Monolayer CMOS
A universal van der Waals injector unlocks polarity‐flexible tunneling contacts for monolayer CMOS. SnSe2, an intrinsically degenerate 2D semiconductor, establishes polarity‐specific band alignments with both WSe2 and MoS2 channels, enabling steep switching, high on/off ratios, and a unified route to low‐power 2D logic.
