Thermally Robust Room‐Temperature Interlayer Excitons in a Hybrid van der Waals Heterostructure

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report an optically active interlayer exciton in a hybrid van der Waals (PEA)2PbBr4/MoS2 heterostructure that remains thermally stable up to 400 K. The emission exhibits polarization anisotropy consistent with an out‐of‐plane optical transition‐dipole component and shows lifetime extension indicative of electron–hole separation.

Amended oscillation criteria for second-order neutral differential equations with damping term

open access: yesAdvances in Difference Equations, 2020
The aim of this work is to improve the oscillation results for second-order neutral differential equations with damping term. We consider the noncanonical case which always leads to two independent conditions for oscillation.

A note on the effect of surface contamination in water wave damping [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Asymptotic formulas are derived for the effect of contamination on surface wave damping in a brimful circular cylinder; viscosity is assumed to be small and contamination is modelled through Marangoni elasticity with insoluble surfactant. It is seen that

Topically Delivered Treg‐Attracting Microparticle‐Hydrogel Composites Recruit Regulatory T Cells and Limit Cardiac Injury After Severe Ischemia

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
CCL22‐releasing PLGA microparticles (MP) suspended in topically applied hydrogels (HEART) establish a sustained chemokine gradient at the injured myocardium. HEART recruits CCR4+ regulatory T cells, reduces infarct size and graft fibrosis, and improves cardiac function.

Collisional Effects on Instabilities in Weakly Ionized Counterstreaming Plasmas [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics
The growth and damping of instabilities in weakly ionized counterstreaming plasmas were investigated by using of the dispersion relation for electrostatic longitudinal waves. Initially, in the collisionless regime, the frequency spectrum and damping rate

Internal Resonance Mismatch-Controlled Dissipative Bistability Collapse in Coupled Micromechanical Oscillators. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
This paper reveals internal resonance mismatch‐controlled dissipative bistability collapse in a coupled micromechanical resonator. Tuning δIR changes both internal‐mode amplitude and phase‐dependent feedback. For negative mismatch, Duffing bistability survives.

A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM WITH NONLINEAR DAMPING AND SOURCE TERMS

open access: yesPesquimat, 2014
