In this study, we examine the dynamics of a discrete‐time predator–prey system with prey refuge. We discuss the stability prerequisite for effective fixed points. The existence criteria for period‐doubling (PD) bifurcation and Neimark–Sacker (N–S) bifurcation are derived from the center manifold theorem and bifurcation theory.

Testing the influence of visual framing on engagement and pro‐environmental action
In an experiment in a museum, an exhibit featuring negatively framed environmental images more effectively engaged visitors and garnered pledges than an exhibit featuring positive images. There was not a significant difference in donations between the two exhibits.

Effects of physical exercise on the functionality of human nucleotidases: A systematic review
Purinergic signaling represents a novel molecular adaptation in inflammatory, thrombotic, and vascular responses to the exercise. Acute and chronic protocols of exercise induce at least transitory adaptations in the functionality of human nucleotidases. The activity of nucleotidases may be linked to cardiometabolic parameters.

Paint It Black or Red: Serious Play in Brazil's Northeast
Abstract This article analyzes a popular, folkloric dance drama in the small city, Laranjeiras, a thriving slave port for its first three centuries. Lambe‐sujo e Caboclinho, dating to the 19th century, depicts the practice of missionized Indigenous people engaged to capture and return fugitive slaves.

In this paper, a mathematical model for the system of prey‐predator with immigrant prey has been analyzed to find an approximate solution for immigrant prey population density, local prey population density, and predator population density. Furthermore, we present a novel soft computing technique named LeNN‐WOA‐NM algorithm for solving the mathematical

The aim of the present study was to examine (a) the relationship of body fat (BF) assessed by bioimpedance analysis (BIA) and skinfold thickness (SKF) and (b) the variation of BF by age depending on the assessment method. Participants were 32 women and 134 men recreational marathon runners, who were tested for BF using both assessment methods (BIA and ...

Study of a Fractional‐Order Chaotic System Represented by the Caputo Operator
This paper is presented on the theory and applications of the fractional‐order chaotic system described by the Caputo fractional derivative. Considering the new fractional model, it is important to establish the presence or absence of chaotic behaviors.

Memristor is a nonlinear and memory element that has a future of replacing resistors for nonlinear circuit computation. It exhibits complex properties such as chaos and hyperchaos. A five‐dimensional memristor‐based circuit in the context of a nonlocal and nonsingular fractional derivative is considered for analysis.
