Spatially Organized Human Ovarian Spheroids Instruct Endometrial Morphogenesis
A spatially organized human follicle‐like spheroid (SPHEGaT) composed of granulosa cells (GCs) and stromal‐derived theca‐like cells (TLCs) establishes sustained steroidogenesis in vitro. When co‐cultured with human endometrial organoids (EMOs), estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P4) exchange induces secretory/progesterone‐responsive differentiation ...

The membrane‐active peptide Pep19‐2.5 reduces harmful inflammation by blocking activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome at trans‐Golgi network membranes. By targeting key membrane interactions, Pep19‐2.5 suppresses inflammatory IL‐1β production and alleviates allergic airway inflammation in mice, leading to reduced immune cell infiltration and improved ...

Healthy lifestyle and life expectancy with and without major chronic disease – a cohort study
Health behaviors affect life expectancy, but whether disease is present can greatly impact both the individual and society. How health behavior is reflected in the utilization of health care services is yet to be investigated to support the impact of ...

Selective Catalytic Production of Urea: Unravelling the Pairwise Competition on p‐d Alloy Catalysts
Unraveling the complicated competition in urea electrosynthesis, this work investigates asymmetric p‐d alloys. We establish two stage‐specific descriptors, Anchoring Affinity and Coupling Propensity, to elegantly quantify thermodynamic bottlenecks.

Neuromodulation strategies are increasingly needed to stimulate, restore, or replace altered neuronal activity in disease. Cobalt ferrite‐barium titanate (CFO–BTO) magnetoelectric nanoparticles convert low‐intensity static magnetic fields into local electrical modulation of cortical networks.

MPXV infection leads to persistent viral replication and severe local inflammation, while existing treatments cannot simultaneously remove viruses and repair injured tissue. This study constructs Polymer@mPDA@Gel hydrogel via a two‐step hierarchical assembly method: mPDA anchors photothermal polymers to form antiviral photothermal subunits, which are ...

Data‐Driven Design of Self‐Adhesive Epidermal Electrodes and Sensors
This work presents self‐adhesive, stretchable epidermal electrodes and sensors developed through a data‐driven design framework that integrates artificial neural networks with genetic algorithms. By tailoring optimization objectives, either maximizing electrical conductivity and adhesion or enhancing piezoresistive sensitivity, the study enables the ...

Developing Soft Interconnected Microchannel Network for 2D Skin‐Like Actuator
A soft interconnected network of microchannels is proposed to develop new pneumatic actuators for future bio‐inspired soft robots. Simultaneous stimulation of this network generates regional asymmetric strains in walls of microchannels whose interaction across the entire surface leads to bending curvatures in multidimensions.
