Structural development in Danish agriculture and its implications for farmland nature [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
During the last decades, development of Danish agriculture was characterised by concentration of land on fewer and larger farms and consequently increasing farm sizes.

Molecular Cross‐Linking of MXenes: Tunable Interfaces and Chemiresistive Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, Ti3C2Tx MXenes are initially functionalized using oleylamine ligands to form stable dispersions in an organic solvent. Subsequently ligand exchange with α,ω‐diaminoalkanes enables cross‐linking, along with precise tuning of interfaces. This structural control translates into tunable charge transport and responsive VOC sensing, showing ...

Long-term cancer risk in users of GLP-1 agonists in Denmark: a nationwide emulated trialResearch in context

open access: yesThe Lancet Regional Health. Europe
Summary: Background: The long-term cancer safety of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1RAs) in real-world settings remains unclear, with limited long-term clinical and observational studies. We clarify the long-term cancer risk.

Micro and Nanostructural Diversity of Lizard Osteoderm Capping Tissue in Relation to Mechanical Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study shows that lizard osteoderm capping tissue is a hyper‐mineralized hydroxyapatite layer consistently covering the superficial osteoderm surface in those species studied here, yet it varies greatly in morphology, nanostructure, and mechanical performance across species.

Organic Crowding Out? - A Study of Danish Organic Food Demand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Only a handful of studies have estimated organic food demand. These all focus on specific food sub-markets assuming separability from other food consumption. However, consumers typically associate attributes such as e.g.

A Computational Journey Toward an Optimal Design for Metamaterial Epicardial Passive Sleeves

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Passive epicardial sleeves are evaluated in 3D in‐silico heart models to reveal how sleeve geometry, stiffness, anisotropy, and metamaterial architecture influence cardiac mechanics after myocardial infarction. A continuum‐to‐auxetic design exploration shows that region‐specific mechanical engagement can reduce infarct bulging and modulate torsional ...

ROS‐Triggered Microgels for Programmable Drug Release in Volumetric Muscle Loss Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Reduced graphene oxide‐incorporated hyaluronic acid microgels are developed as ROS‐responsive, injectable platforms for curcumin delivery in volumetric muscle loss. The microgels exhibit strong antioxidative activity, high drug‐loading capacity, and ROS‐triggered release.
