We investigated the relationship between occupational lead exposure and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) survival in Denmark. We identified 2,161 ALS cases diagnosed from 1982 to 2013 with at least 5 years of employment history before ALS diagnosis, via the Danish National Patient Registry.
