Aging Triggers an Intestinal Energy Crisis and HDL3 Deficiency Disrupting Gut–Liver Axis Homeostasis
The age‐related mitochondrial energy crisis and the consequent disruption of intestinal HDL3 biosynthesis converge to disrupt the gut–liver HDL3‐LPS/TLR4 axis, compromising hepatic anti‐inflammatory function and driving liver injury, an effect reversible upon NMN administration.
