On a variational problem due to the B‐Darboux frame in Euclidean 3‐space
Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2021In this paper, we introduce a new frame which is called the B‐Darboux frame on a surface in Euclidean 3‐space. We know that the parallel transport frame is derived from the Frenet frame along a space curve on a surface. Analogously, we derive the B‐Darboux frame from the Darboux frame along a space curve on a surface in Euclidean 3‐space.

A new version of bienergies and biangles for curves framed by extended darboux frame
Soft Computing, 2021In this work, we research geometrical interpretation involved with the bienergy by ED-frame fields of the first and second types on an orientable hypersurface in $$\mathbb {E}^{4}$$ . We explore the geometric features of some charts by means of bienergy in

On The Darboux Frame Motion of a Developable Surface
2021Developable ruled surfaces and the rotation-minimizing frames (RMF) have a crucial importance in computer-aided geometric design (CAGD) because of being unfoldable (developable) into a plane without distortion. Also, the RMF of curves are generally used in computer graphics.

Darboux frames, snakes, and super-quadrics: geometry from the bottom-up
[1989] Proceedings. Workshop on Interpretation of 3D Scenes, 1993A representational and a computational model for deriving 3-D articulated volumetric descriptions of objects from laser rangefinder data is described. This method is purely bottom up: it relies on general assumptions cast in terms of differential geometry.

Canonical Decomposition of the Instantaneous Kinematics of Darboux Frame
2020This paper gives a screw theoretic insight into the instantaneous kinematics of the Darboux frame (D-frame) moving on a smooth surface. It is established that the velocity state of D-frame is described by a three screw system. The principal screws of this system depend only upon the local shape of the surface.
