Darboux transformation: new identities [PDF]

open access: yesPhysica Scripta, 2019
Abstract This letter reports some new identities for multisoliton potentials that are based on the explicit representation provided by the Darboux matrix. These identities can be used to compute the complex gradient of the energy content of the tail of the profile with respect to the discrete eigenvalues and the norming constants. The

A Method for Obtaining Darboux Transformations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics, 1998
In this paper we give a method to obtain Darboux transformations (DTs) of integrable equations. As an example we give a DT of the dispersive water wave equation. Using the Miura map, we also obtain the DT of the Jaulent-Miodek equation. \end{abstract}

A Comprehensive Study of the Complex mKdV Equation through the Singular Manifold Method

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In this paper, we introduce a modification of the Singular Manifold Method in order to derive the associated spectral problem for a generalization of the complex version of the modified Korteweg–de Vries equation.

Quantum reference frames: derivation of perspective-dependent descriptions via a perspective-neutral structure [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum, 2023
In standard quantum mechanics, reference frames are treated as abstract entities. We can think of them as idealized, infinite-mass subsystems which decouple from the rest of the system. In nature, however, all reference frames are realized through finite-

Solitons and the generalized Cole-Hopf substitutions

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2013
This paper examines the relationship between the method of the inverse problem and the method of generalized Cole-Hopf substitutions. The relationship between these methods is established by comparing the method of Darboux transformations and the method ...

DARBOUX TRANSFORMS AND ORTHOGONAL POLYNOMIALS [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Korean Mathematical Society, 2002
In [\textit{F. A. Grünbaum} and \textit{L. Haine}, Symmetries and Integrability of Differential Equations, Estérel, 1994, CRM Proc. Lect. Notes 9, 143-154 (1996; Zbl 0865.33008)] the Darboux transform was used to obtain so-called Bochner-Krall orthogonal polynomials which satisfy a higher order (\(>2\)) spectral type differential equation. This Darboux

D-Modules and Darboux Transformations

open access: yesLetters in Mathematical Physics, 1998
A method of G. Wilson for generating commutative algebras of ordinary differential operators is extended to higher dimensions. Our construction, based on the theory of D-modules, leads to a new class of examples of commutative rings of partial differential operators with rational spectral varieties.
