Vertical Hydraulic Gradients as Key Calibration Constraints in Regional Groundwater Models
Abstract In typical clastic sedimentary aquifer systems, interbedded coarse‐ and fine‐grained deposits impede vertical flow and promote horizontal flow. This effect, known as vertical anisotropy, is often underestimated in regional groundwater models, leading to overestimated vertical aquifer communication.

Abstract Health disparities experienced by mothers of children with disability highlight the need for mental health and wellbeing interventions. This study investigated the health behaviour, health‐seeking, mental health, wellbeing and longitudinal outcomes for participating mothers in the Healthy Mothers Healthy Families (HMHF) e‐workshop package ...

ABSTRACT This study demonstrates that flow resistance in rivers, quantified via calibration of a modified Manning's equation, can inform its estimation from channel hydrometric information available from regional or global datasets for a limited set (N = 14) of rigorously calibrated river reaches in Alaska and with less certainty in a large set (N ...

Background Studies on the association between victimisation in childhood and adolescence and psychiatric disorders increasingly acknowledge that these associations might be partly confounded by unmeasured familial factors. However, previous quasi‐experimental evidence is largely based on retrospective self‐reported data with potential response biases ...

ABSTRACT Microorganism and plant interactions are crucial for development and environmental adaptation. Plant growth promoting bacteria enhance agricultural productivity in a sustainable manner, while epigenetic modifications such as DNA methylation regulate gene expression and adaptive responses.
