Microfluidic Nano‐Assembly of Red‐Blood‐Cell (RBC) Lipids and Components for Engineering Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Engineered red blood cell‐derived extracellular vesicles (eRBCEVs) are synthesized via controlled microfluidic assembly from native RBC lipids, enabling tunable encapsulation of proteins, nucleic acids, nanoparticles, and viral vectors. The platform demonstrates reproducible nanoscale architecture, preserved membrane composition, and functional cargo ...

Conjugated Porphyrin Polymer With Superior Charge Transfer for Photodynamic‐Immunomodulatory Prevention of CIED Infection in Diabetes

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Under NIR irradiation, PTCPP generates ROS to eliminate MRSA biofilms and promote M1 macrophage polarization for phagocytosis. After bacterial clearance, the material is phagocytosed by macrophages, shifting their polarization to M2 phenotype via metabolic reprogramming, which synergistically enhances anti‐infection therapy and wound healing.

Local Dark-Energy Response Experiment (LDRE): Probing Non-Uniform Dark Energy via Precision Metrology and Astronomical Observations

open access: yes
Modern cosmology conventionally treats dark energy as a spatially uniform cosmological constant or a smooth dynamical fluid. However, this assumption remains largely untested on local and intermediate scales. This paper introduces the theoretical foundation and observational framework of the Local Dark-Energy Response Experiment (LDRE), proposing that ...
