The chemistry of dense interstellar clouds
The basic theme of this program is the study of molecular complexity and evolution in interstellar and circumstellar clouds incorporating the biogenic elements.

Outflows are key indicators of ongoing star formation. We report the discovery of an unanchored forked stream within the propagating path of an extremely young protostellar outflow in the 70 μ m-dark clump G34.74-0.12, based on Atacama Large Millimeter ...

On high-latitude interstellar polarization toward the local spiral
Aims. The interstellar polarization in the northern high-latitude sky is low and rather smooth in the local spiral (LS) longitude range 60° < l < 240°, except for an extension of aligned higher polarization within 120° < l < 180° up to b ≈ 50°.

Absorption spectra of dark interstellar clouds − a long term project for the Terskol Observatory
We present the long-term project on investigation of the absorption spectral features originating in interstellar HI clouds. This project is being realized at the Terskol Observatory.

Bringing the Norma Dark Cloud to Light in X-Rays
The filamentary dark cloud complex in Norma reveals signs of active low-mass star formation including protostars, H α emission line stars, Herbig–Haro objects, and the eruptive FU Orionis-like star V346 Nor.

Investigation of Hourglass-shaped Magnetic Fields in the G35.20–0.74 Star-forming Complex
To investigate the role of magnetic fields toward the G35N and G35S subregions in the G35.20–0.74 star-forming complex, we utilized multiwavelength polarimetric observations from the SOFIA/HAWC+ at 154 μ m and Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) at 220 GHz/

THE CHEMISTRY OF PAH AND FULLERENE MOLECULES IN INTERSTELLAR CLOUDS
Recent laboratory data on the ion-neutral chemistry of PAH and fullerene ions and molecules have been incorporated into chemical kinetic models of interstellar clouds.

Revisiting a Chemical Route to the Formation of CN− in the Interstellar Medium
We discuss the HCN + H ^− reaction as a path to the formation of CN ^− , the smallest cyanopolyyne anion observed in several interstellar environments.
