Quasinormal modes of Schwarzschild black holes in the Dehnen-(1, 4, 5/2) type dark matter halos
The Dehnen-type dark matter density distribution model is mainly used for dwarf galaxies. In recent years, researchers have speculated that black holes may exist in this dark matter model and have given the black hole metric solutions.

Decaying dark matter in halos of primordial black holes
We investigate photon signatures of general decaying dark-matter particles in halos of primordial black holes. We derive the halo-profile density and the total decay rate for these combined dark-matter scenarios.

Frailty Exacerbates Disability in Progressive Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Background To evaluate frailty in severe progressive multiple sclerosis (PMS) and to investigate the underlying mechanisms. Methods This prospective, cross‐sectional, multicenter study enrolled a late severe PMS group requiring skilled nursing (n = 53) and an age, sex, and disease duration‐matched control PMS group (n = 53).

Black hole surrounded by the pseudo-isothermal dark matter halo
In this paper, we obtain a new spherically symmetric black hole surrounded by the pseudo-isothermal dark matter halo. Furthermore, to explore the effects of the pseudo-isothermal halo profile on a rotating black hole at the M87 galactic center, we derive

Shielding of a direct detection experiment and implications for the DAMA annual modulation signal
Previous work has argued that, in the framework of plasma dark matter models, the DAMA annual modulation signal can be consistently explained with electron recoils.

On topological bias of discrete sources in the gas of wormholes
The model of space in the form of a static gas of wormholes is considered. It is shown that the scattering on such a gas gives rise to the formation of a specific diffuse halo around every discrete source.

Generating Dark Matter Halo Merger Trees [PDF]
We present a new Monte-Carlo algorithm to generate merger trees describing the formation history of dark matter halos. The algorithm is a modification of the algorithm of Cole et al (2000) used in the GALFORM semi-analytic galaxy formation model. As such, it is based on the Extended Press-Schechter theory and so should be applicable to hierarchical ...

Whole‐Body Pattern of Muscle Degeneration and Progression in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective To characterize whole‐body intramuscular fat distribution pattern in patients with sarcoglycanopathies and explore correlations with disease severity, duration and age at onset. Methods Retrospective, cross‐sectional, multicentric study enrolling patients with variants in one of the four sarcoglycan genes who underwent whole‐body ...
