Microlensing in dark matter haloes [PDF]
Using eight dark matter haloes extracted from fully-self consistent cosmological N-body simulations, we perform microlensing experiments. A hypothetical observer is placed at a distance of 8.5 kpc from the centre of the halo measuring optical depths, event durations and event rates towards the direction of the Large Magellanic Cloud.

Abstract M54 is a prototype for a globular cluster embedded in a dark matter halo. Gaia Early Data Release 3 photometry and proper motions separate the old, metal-poor stars from the more metal-rich and younger dwarf galaxy stars. The metal-poor stars dominate the inner 50 pc, with a velocity dispersion profile that declines to a minimum

Supermassive black holes from the center of galaxy may be immersed in a dark matter halo. This dark matter halo may form a “cusp” structure around the black hole and disappear at a certain distance from the black hole.

Baryons both increase halo concentration through adiabatic contraction and expel mass through feedback processes. However, it is not well understood how the radiation fields prevalent during the epoch of reionization affect the evolution of concentration

Mass and shape of the Milky Way’s dark matter halo with globular clusters from Gaia and Hubble [PDF]
Aims. We estimate the mass of the inner (< 20 kpc) Milky Way and the axis ratio of its inner dark matter halo using globular clusters as tracers. At the same time, we constrain the distribution in phase-space of the globular cluster system around the ...

MultiDark simulations: the story of dark matter halo concentrations and density profiles [PDF]
Accurately predicting structural properties of dark matter halos is one of the fundamental goals of modern cosmology. We use the new suite of MultiDark cosmological simulations to study the evolution of dark matter halo density profiles, concentrations ...

Black hole surrounded by a dark matter halo in the M87 galactic center and its identification with shadow images [PDF]
In this paper we present a new black hole solution surrounded by dark matter halo in the galactic center using the mass model of M87 and that coming from the Universal Rotation Curve (URC) dark matter profile representing family of spiral galaxies.

Disk Galaxies Are Self-similar: The Universality of the H i-to-Halo Mass Ratio for Isolated Disks
Observed scaling relations in galaxies between baryons and dark matter global properties are key to shed light on the process of galaxy formation and on the nature of dark matter.

Black hole space-time in dark matter halo [PDF]
For the first time, we obtain the analytical form of a stationary black hole space-time metric in dark matter halos. First, using the relation between the rotational velocity (in the equatorial plane) and the spherically symmetric space-time metric ...
