Indocyanine green angiography in Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease: angiographic signs and utility in patient follow-up [PDF]
Purpose Firstly, to give a review of characteristic indocyanine green angiographic (ICGA) signs in Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease and, secondly, to determine the utility of ICG angiography in the assessment and follow-up of choroidal inflammatory ...

HDAC4 is degraded by the E3 ligase FBXW7. In colorectal cancer, FBXW7 mutations prevent HDAC4 degradation, leading to oxaliplatin resistance. Forced degradation of HDAC4 using a PROTAC compound restores drug sensitivity by resetting the super‐enhancer landscape, reprogramming the epigenetic state of FBXW7‐mutated cells to resemble oxaliplatin ...

Radiation-induced lowered neurogenesis associated with shortened latency of inhibitory avoidance memory response [PDF]
The neural system is less sensitive to radiation than other late-responding organs and tissues such as the kidney and lung. The generation of new neurons in the adult mammalian brain has been documented in several works.

Hybrid plasmonic photoreactors as visible light-mediated bactericides [PDF]
Photocatalytic compounds and complexes, such as tris(bipyridine)ruthenium(II), [Ru(bpy)3]2+, have recently attracted attention as light-mediated bactericides that can help to address the need for new antibacterial strategies.

Effective therapeutic targeting of CTNNB1‐mutant hepatoblastoma with WNTinib
WNTinib, a Wnt/CTNNB1 inhibitor, was tested in hepatoblastoma (HB) experimental models. It delayed tumor growth and improved survival in CTNNB1‐mutant in vivo models. In organoids, WNTinib outperformed cisplatin and showed enhanced efficacy in combination therapy, supporting its potential as a targeted treatment for CTNNB1‐mutated HB.

Sensing the darkness: Dark therapy, authority, and spiritual experience
Religious experiences are important for many human traditions. A predictive processing-based approach to religious experiences previously identified sensory deprivation and the influence of authority as probable means of their induction. To observe the effects of these factors on human perception and psychology, this qualitative study focuses on the ...

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox
