This study highlights the biodiversity value of the Murren Reserve, a small tropical dry forest patch in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Using camera traps and opportunistic observations, researchers documented 32 wildlife species, including federally endangered species like the ocelot (Leopardus pardalis) and puma (Puma concolor), as well as 73 plant species.

We studied species richness and activity patterns of medium‐sized and large terrestrial mammals in agroforests located in the northern buffer zone of Tambopata National Reserve, Peru. The agroforests harboured a high number of mammal species, with species richness increasing alongside greater structural complexity of vegetation.

Caraguatypotherium munozi displays a distinctive morphofunctional configuration combining high wrist flexor leverage with reduced elbow mechanical advantage—traits consistent with wrist‐dominated scratch‐digging.
