Strictness Meets Data Flow [PDF]
Properties of programs can be formulated using various techniques: dataflow analysis, abstract interpretation and type-like inference systems. This paper reconstructs strictness analysis (establishing when function parameters are evaluated in a lazy language) as a dataflow analysis by expressing the dataflow properties as an effect system.

Preventing Unauthorized Data Flows [PDF]

Scheduling Optimisations for SPIN to Minimise Buffer Requirements in Synchronous Data Flow [PDF]
Synchronous Data flow (SDF) graphs have a simple and elegant semantics (essentially linear algebra) which makes SDF graphs eminently suitable as a vehicle for studying scheduling optimisations.

Improved flow prediction of non-ideal sonic nozzles by CFD-based surrogate modelling
The use of sonic nozzles as a high-precision standard for gas flow measurements in various engineering and metrological applications is well-established.

Data-flow Analysis of Programs with Associative Arrays
Dynamic programming languages, such as PHP, JavaScript, and Python, provide built-in data structures including associative arrays and objects with similar semantics-object properties can be created at run-time and accessed via arbitrary expressions ...

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

High performance Boson sampling simulation via data-flow engines
Boson sampling (BS) is viewed to be an accessible quantum computing paradigm to demonstrate computational advantage compared to classical computers. In this context, the evolution of permanent calculation algorithms attracts a significant attention as ...

In this paper we present a new approach to data analysis based on flow distribution study in a flow network. Branches of the flow graph are interpreted as decision rules, whereas the flow graph is supposed to describe a decision algorithm. We propose to

ABSTRACT Background Oral mucositis is a common and debilitating side effect of childhood cancer and stem cell transplant treatments. It affects the quality of life of children and young people (CYP) and places a strain on services. Photobiomodulation is recommended for oral mucositis prevention in international guidance but is poorly implemented in UK ...
