Accuracy of bone mineral data

American Journal of Roentgenology, 1980
The reliability of data obtained from the Norland-Cameron Bone Mineral Analyzer has been questioned and the possibility of an inherent calibration error in the machine has been raised. To make an absolute measurement of the instrumental accuracy, bone mineral content measured by the bone mineral analyzer was compared with an absolute value obtained by ...

Accuracy of positioning data on smartphones

Proceedings of the 3rd International Workshop on Location and the Web, 2010
This contribution investigates how accurate location information is on smartphones. Our research is based on a data set consisting of 2289 locations gathered from a marketed iPhone application. In a first analysis, it became evident that the accuracy information differs significantly among iPhone and iPod and iPad devices.

Data Fusion with Different Accuracy

2004 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics, 2005
This paper presents criteria to evaluate different data fusion approaches. A new fusion method for two data with different accuracy is also presented. This approach is an extension of weighted average, which can solve some problem that cannot be handled by maximum likelihood approach.

Experimental Data and 'Sufficient' Accuracy

Nature, 1946
DURING a recent investigation on electron gun systems which involved the collection of numerical data—the measurements of a certain distance—the problem arose as to how many data it was necessary to collect in order to achieve sufficient accuracy in the final result, which, in this case, was ± 2 percent.
