Optimization in Data Cube System Design [PDF]
The design of an OLAP system for supporting real-time queries is one of the major research issues. One approach is to use data cubes, which are materialized precomputed multidimensional views of data in a data warehouse. We can derive a set of data cubes to answer each frequently asked query directly.

Processing Linked Open Data Cubes [PDF]
A significant part of open data provided by governments and international organizations concerns statistics such as demographics and economic indicators. The real value, however, of open statistical data will unveil from performing analytics on top of combined datasets from disparate sources.

Borrowing from the tidy data principles developed for tabular datasets [Wickham, 2014](https://vita.had.co.nz/papers/tidy-data.pdf), this presentation imagines 'tidy' principles for n-dimensional array data represented by Xarray objects with a specific focus on geospatial datasets.

Rights Protection for Data Cubes
We propose a rights protection scheme for data cubes. The scheme embeds ownership information by modifying a set of selected cell values. The embedded message will not affect the usefulness of data cubes in the sense that the sum queries at any aggregation level are not affected.

Implementing data cubes efficiently
Proceedings of the 1996 ACM SIGMOD international conference on Management of data - SIGMOD '96, 1996Decision support applications involve complex queries on very large databases. Since response times should be small, query optimization is critical. Users typically view the data as multidimensional data cubes. Each cell of the data cube is a view consisting of an aggregation of interest, like total sales.

We propose a robust watermarking scheme and several extensions for digital right management of data cubes. The ownership information is hidden into a data cube by modifying a set of selected cell values. Its owner can use his private key to control all the watermarking parameters freely.

Materialization of data cube in flash memory based on condensed data cube
2011 International Conference on Electrical and Control Engineering, 2011In On-Line Analytical Processing applications, we can shorten the query response time and increase the efficiency of online analytical processing by the implementation of the memory data cube or other methods. According to the specific characteristics of NAND flash memory, combined with condensed data cube tuple storage characteristics and the three ...

With increasing amount of data being stored in XML format, OLAP queries over these data become important. OLAP queries have been well studied in the relational database systems. However, the evaluation of OLAP queries over XML data is not a trivial extension of the relational solutions, especially when a schema is not available.
