A‐Site Cationic Variation to Expand the Sacrificial Layer AVO3 Family Dissolving in Water

The visual art depicts atoms dissolving in water, symbolizing the etching of Sr1‐xCaxVO3 thin films. This study demonstrates a new family of water‐soluble materials, expanding the lattice parameter range available for epitaxial growth on sacrificial layers.

Thermodynamic Stability and Site‐Specific Distribution of Graphitic and Pyridinic Nitrogen in Graphene Moiré on Ru(0001)

Nitrogen doping on Ru(0001) is investigated using ion implantation and annealing, tuning the distribution of graphitic (GN) and pyridinic (PN) nitrogen sites. Enhancing Environmental Stability and Transparency of Glass Coatings Using Silica Nanoparticles in the Sol‐Gel Process

This study presents a novel silica‐based sol‐gel coating enhance with silica nanoparticles to protect glass surfaces. By reducing formulation acidity and improving resistance to environmental alteration—especially with 50 nm particles and double‐dip application—the method creates a gentle yet effective protective barrier.

Electrochemical Modulation of Hole Extraction in NiO/Perovskite Bilayers

The influence of hole depletion/accumulation on the hole extraction is evaluated in NiO/perovskite bilayers by transient spectroelectrochemical measurements. Metal‐halide perovskite thin films with different valence band positions are prepared, and the influence of band offset on the hole extraction kinetics is studied.

Electrochemically‐Assisted Low Power Density Laser Writing on Stainless Steel via Enrichment of Chromium Oxides

This research describes the invention of a new method to color the surface of stainless steel with brown to blue hues at micron resolution using a low‐power laser. This method is safer and lower cost than previous methods. The study determines that the main coloring compound is chromium oxide.
