Sprint Planning Optimization in Agile Data Warehouse Design

2012
Agile methods have been increasingly adopted to make data warehouse design faster and nimbler. They divide a data warehouse project into sprints (iterations), and include a sprint planning phase that is critical to ensure the project success. Several factors impact on the optimality of a sprint plan, e.g., the estimated complexity, business value, and ...

Assessing Youth Sprint Ability–Methodological Issues, Reliability and Performance Data

Pediatric Exercise Science, 2011
The primary purpose of this paper was to provide insight into the methodological issues and associated reliability of assessments used to quantify running sprint ability in youth athletes aged 8–18 years. Over-ground sprinting was the most reliable and common used choice of assessment to measure sprint performance of youth. In addition, the performance

Neural network-based optimization model for sprint data collection

Journal of Computational Methods in Sciences and Engineering, 2022
Sprint data has the characteristics of quality and continuity, but due to the limitations of optimization algorithm, the existing sprint data acquisition optimization model has the problem of low optimization performance parameters. Therefore, a data acquisition control optimization model based on neural network is proposed.

On an Improved SPRINT Data Stream Online Classification Algorithm

Advanced Materials Research, 2013
Aiming at the characteristics of data stream, the paper presents an incremental decision tree algorithm based on binary-attribute tree on the basis of SPRINT algorithm. The attribute set of this improved algorithm adopts the maximum entropy attribute classification and dynamic storage method of Bayesian method.

Abstract P130: A Map of SPRINT’s Data-free Zone

Hypertension, 2017
120 mmHg is an optimal SBP goal according to the SPRINT trial. However, certain inclusion and exclusion criteria cloud its broad applicability. It is critical to understand which patients are well represented and reasonable candidates for intensive BP goals.

Normative spatiotemporal and ground reaction force data for female and male sprinting

Journal of Sports Sciences, 2023
This study aimed to demonstrate the differences in spatiotemporal and ground reaction force (GRF) variables during overground sprinting between performance levels for female and male sprinters with providing normative data during the entire acceleration phase.

Force-time data acquisition system for sprint starting.

Canadian journal of sport sciences = Journal canadien des sciences du sport, 1990
A device for the acquisition of horizontal forces in the sprint start was designed and tested on the basis of linearity, hysteresis, and the force-time curves. The force measuring device was built to resemble and function as a regular starting block while measuring the reaction force from the push off.

SprintCon: Controllable and Efficient Computational Sprinting for Data Center Servers

2019 IEEE International Parallel and Distributed Processing Symposium (IPDPS), 2019
Computational sprinting is an effective mechanism to temporarily boost the performance of data center servers. However, given the great effect on performance improvement, how to make the sprinting process controllable and how to maximize the sprinting efficiency have not been well discussed yet.
