Exploring Quantum Support Vector Regression for Predicting Hydrogen Storage Capacity of Nanoporous Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
In this study we employed support vector regressor and quantum support vector regressor to predict the hydrogen storage capacity of metal–organic frameworks using structural and physicochemical descriptors. This study presents a comparative analysis of classical support vector regression (SVR) and quantum support vector regression (QSVR) in predicting ...

Decoding Tattoo and Permanent Makeup Pigments: Linking Physicochemical Properties to Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Elimination Profiles Using Quantitative Structure–Activity Relationship (QSAR)‐Based New Approach Methodologies (NAMs)

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This study applies QSAR‐based new approach methodologies to 90 synthetic tattoo and permanent makeup pigments, revealing systemic links between their physicochemical properties and absorption, distribution, metabolism, and elimination profiles. The correlation‐driven analysis using SwissADME, ChemBCPP, and principal component analysis uncovers insights

Universally Accurate or Specifically Inadequate? Stress‐Testing General Purpose Machine Learning Interatomic Potentials

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
We investigate MACE‐MP‐0 and M3GNet, two general‐purpose machine learning potentials, in materials discovery and find that both generally yield reliable predictions. At the same time, both potentials show a bias towards overstabilizing high energy metastable states. We deduce a metric to quantify when these potentials are safe to use.

Data Warehouse Refreshment

open access: yes, 2007
In the early stages of a data warehouse project, the designers/administrators have to come up with a decision concerning the design and deployment of the back-stage architecture. The possible options are (a) the usage of a commercial ETL tool, or (b) the development of an in-house ETL prototype. Both cases have advantages and disadvantages. However, in

A PROPOSAL OF DATA QUALITY FOR DATA WAREHOUSES ENVIRONMENT

open access: yesJurnal Informatika, 2006
The quality of the data provided is critical to the success of data warehousing initiatives. There is strong evidence that many organisations have significant data quality problems, and that these have substantial social and economic impacts.
