An introduction to Graph Data Management

open access: yes, 2017
A graph database is a database where the data structures for the schema and/or instances are modeled as a (labeled)(directed) graph or generalizations of it, and where querying is expressed by graph-oriented operations and type constructors.

A benchmark for online non-blocking schema transformations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
This paper presents a benchmark for measuring the blocking behavior of schema transformations in relational database systems. As a basis for our benchmark, we have developed criteria for the functionality and performance of schema transformation ...

RDBNorma: - A semi-automated tool for relational database schema normalization up to third normal form [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv.org, 2011
In this paper a tool called RDBNorma is proposed, that uses a novel approach to represent a relational database schema and its functional dependencies in computer memory using only one linked list and used for semi-automating the process of relational ...

Modeling hepatic fibrosis in TP53 knockout iPSC‐derived human liver organoids

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study developed iPSC‐derived human liver organoids with TP53 gene knockout to model human liver fibrosis. These organoids showed elevated myofibroblast activation, early disease markers, and advanced fibrotic hallmarks. The use of profibrotic differentiation medium further amplified the fibrotic signature seen in the organoids.

Transformasi Skema Basis Data Relasional Menjadi Model Data Berorientasi Dokumen pada MongoDB

open access: yesIJCCS (Indonesian Journal of Computing and Cybernetics Systems), 2016
MongoDB is a database that uses document-oriented data storage models. In fact, to  migrate from a relational database to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is not an easy matter especially if the data are extremely complex.

A Survey of schema matching research using database schemas and instances

open access: yes, 2017
Schema matching is considered as one of the essential phases of data integration in database systems. The main aim of the schema matching process is to identify the correlation between schema which helps later in the data integration process.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
