Multidimensional OMICs reveal ARID1A orchestrated control of DNA damage, splicing, and cell cycle in normal‐like and malignant urothelial cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

A new secure 2PL real-time concurrency control algorithm (ES2PL)

open access: yesInternational Journal of Intelligent Networks, 2022
A secure concurrency control algorithms must be devoid of covert channels originating from data conflicts between transactions, in addition to ensuring database integrity.

Targeting the AKT/mTOR pathway attenuates the metastatic potential of colorectal carcinoma circulating tumor cells in a murine xenotransplantation model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dual targeting of AKT and mTOR using MK2206 and RAD001 reduces tumor burden in an intracardiac colon cancer circulating tumor cell xenotransplantation model. Analysis of AKT isoform‐specific knockdowns in CTC‐MCC‐41 reveals differentially regulated proteins and phospho‐proteins by liquid chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Circulating tumor cells

Blockchain: An Overview and Its Applications in Aviation

open access: yesHanggong uju uihakoeji, 2023
Blockchain is a type of distributed database managed through multiple network transaction details (P2P, Peer to Peer), and transaction information is stored on multiple computers (nodes) connected to the blockchain network instead of storing it in one

Health-care databases and its role in transformation of medicine

open access: yesJournal of the Scientific Society, 2020
Health-care database is a collection of health-care data organized for storage, accessibility, and retrieval. Health-care database serves to replace the paper documents, filing cabinets of old, and file folders, which will be more convenient and ...

Process as a world transaction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Transaction is process closure: for a transaction is the limiting process of process itself. In the process world view the universe is the ultimate (intensional) transaction of all its extensional limiting processes that we call reality.

Schema architecture and their relationships to transaction processing in distributed database systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
We discuss the different types of schema architectures which could be supported by distributed database systems, making a clear distinction between logical, physical, and federated distribution. We elaborate on the additional mapping information required

Chemoresistome mapping in individual breast cancer patients unravels diversity in dynamic transcriptional adaptation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

Landscape of BRAF transcript variants in human cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We investigate the annotation of BRAF variants, focusing on protein‐coding BRAF‐220 (formerly BRAF‐reference) and BRAF‐204 (BRAF‐X1). The IsoWorm pipeline allows us to quantify these variants in human cancer, starting from RNA‐sequencing data. BRAF‐204 is more abundant than BRAF‐220 and impacts patient survival.

State of the art and future research on distributed processing system in Internet environment

open access: yes大数据, 2018
Due to the gradual failure of Moore’s law, traditional centralized data processing systems begin to show performance bottlenecks, which can’t effectively support the rapid development of current business. At the same time, due to the security, cost, policy and
