Transparent Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes with Conductive Oxide Top Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Transparent perovskite light‐emitting diodes (TrPeLEDs) enable simultaneous display and transparency, expanding application possibilities. Using a metal oxide buffer layer and pulsed laser deposition, TrPeLEDs with diverse compositions and architectures are demonstrated.

Performance of combined daylighting strategies in varied sky conditions: post occupancy evaluation of lecture rooms in a tropical climate

open access: yesMehran University Research Journal of Engineering and Technology, 2022
Due to the inadequate attention given to daylighting in lecture rooms in tropical wet and dry climate, this study, using field measurement, evaluates combined daylighting strategies in three lecture rooms labelled LLH, BMS and ANB with distinct bilateral

Effect of Sky Discretization for Shading Device Calculation on Building Energy Performance Simulations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
The calculation of sunlit surfaces in a building has always been a relevant aspect in building energy simulation programs. Due to the high computational cost, some programs use algorithms for shading calculation for certain solar positions after ...

Parallel Electrical Integration of Photo Bio Electrochemical Systems (photo‐BESs): Performance Gains and Load Dependency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Parallel wiring of bioelectrochemical devices with conventional generators unexpectedly boosts output. A biophotovoltaic paired with a solar cell delivers up to 50% more power at low loads than their separate contributions; a plant microbial fuel cell shows similar current gains.

Chameleonic Color‐Variable Microbead Emitters for Multilevel Spectroscopic Encryption from Visible to Infrared Wavelengths

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Whispering‐gallery‐mode microresonators with sharp resonant peaks enable photonic barcoding. Similar to a chameleon, a rare‐earth‐free microcavity with π‐conjugated PAHs enables visibleto‐near infrared color generation from a single microbead. The unique resonat emission (spectral barcode) can be dynamically transformed via excitation wavelength change,

Daylight Measurement Data required for Daylighting Calculation.

open access: yesJournal of Light & Visual Environment, 1991
Why should we collect daylight measurement data? One of the most important purpose of the collection is to use for daylighting calculation. The calculation can be classified to two, (A) for the research and (B) for the practical application. Since it is difficult to predict at present time what kind of research we do in future and to specify a class of
