DETERMINATION OF DAZOMET IN BASAMID GRANULAT BY NORMAL PHASE HIGH PERFORMANCE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY

Journal of Liquid Chromatography & Related Technologies, 2001
The normal phase determination of tetrahydro-3,5-dimethyl-1,3,5-thiadiazine-2-tione (IUPAC), with commercial name dazomet in pesticide formulation, Basamid Granulat (Dazomet Technical Granules), produced by BASF has been studied. The analysis was performed on a LiChrosorb CN analytical column and UV detection at 285 nm.

Supramolecular phosphorescent assemblies based on cucurbit[8]uril and bromophenylpyridine derivatives for dazomet recognition

Spectrochimica Acta Part A: Molecular and Biomolecular Spectroscopy
A bromophenylpyridine derivative (N1) was designed, synthesized, and the molecule was incorporated into the cavity of the cucurbit[8]uril (Q[8]) as a guest to form a 2:1 host-guest complex. This complex demonstrates good room temperature phosphorescence (RTP) properties in aqueous solution.

Fungicidal effects of the fumigant dazomet on sclerotia of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum in soil

Transactions of the British Mycological Society, 1974
Dazomet was fungicidal to sclerotia of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum (Lib.) de Bary, from pure culture or collected from different agricultural crops, in soil over a range of temperatures from 5 to 20°C and its effect became operative within 2 days at 20°C ; after 8 days no viable sclerotia were recorded at any of the temperatures.
