“MR Fingerprinting for Imaging Brain Hemodynamics and Oxygenation”

open access: yesJournal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Volume 62, Issue 6, Page 1525-1545, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Over the past decade, several studies have explored the potential of magnetic resonance fingerprinting (MRF) for the quantification of brain hemodynamics, oxygenation, and perfusion. Recent advances in simulation models and reconstruction frameworks have also significantly enhanced the accuracy of vascular parameter estimation.

Therapeutic Approaches for Enhancing Spinal Fusion in Low Back Pain: A Review With a Focus on the Elderly

open access: yesJOR SPINE, Volume 8, Issue 4, December 2025.
The review summarizes the current clinical problems of non‐spinal fusions in orthopaedics. I refers to selected biological examples of how ossification can be better achieved in elderly patients. ABSTRACT Background Low back pain (LBP) is a prevalent cause of disability worldwide, particularly among the elderly, with degenerative spinal conditions ...

Real‐time specific absorption rate supervision for a 32‐channel RF transmit system with virtual observation points

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 94, Issue 6, Page 2785-2793, December 2025.
Abstract Purpose Real‐time supervision is a crucial element of an RF parallel transmit (pTx) system to supervise safety of the subject during MR imaging and to utilize the full potential of the RF array. However, the computational demand for the specific absorption rate (SAR) calculation scales much greater than linearly with the number of RF channels.

A Comparison of Skeletal Muscle Diffusion Tensor Imaging Tractography Seeding Methods

open access: yesNMR in Biomedicine, Volume 38, Issue 12, December 2025.
Diffusion‐tensor imaging (DTI) fiber tracking can be used to quantify skeletal muscle architecture, allowing studies of muscle structure‐function relationships. However, the options for defining the seed points (starting points for integrating the first eigenvector of the diffusion tensor) to form the fiber tracts have not been evaluated.
