Integrated Photonic Modulator Circuit With Programmable Intensity and Phase Modulation Response
A platform‐agnostic programmable modulation circuit is introduced to enable tunable and universal optimization of integrated photonic modulators. By flexibly controlling carrier amplitude and phase, the approach adapts to diverse device characteristics without structural redesign.

An adaptive mutation strategy for DBMS fuzzing
Database management systems (DBMS) are widely used in various fields and play an irreplaceable role. Therefore, it is crucial to discover bugs in DBMS and prevent them from being exploited by attackers. In order to detect hidden bugs in DBMS, researchers ...

High‐Efficiency Graphene‐Silicon Slot‐Waveguide Microring Modulator at 1.5 and 2 µm Wavelength Bands
E/O modulators typically face a trade‐off between bandwidth and modulation efficiency. An integrated E/O modulator is presented that simultaneously achieves wideband, large bandwidth, and high modulation efficiency operation by embedding a partially overlapped double‐layer graphene on a compact silicon slot‐waveguide microring resonator.

Comb‐Driven Coherent Optical Transmitter for Scalable DWDM Interconnects
A comb‐driven coherent optical transmitter on a Si/SiN platform enables scalable DWDM interconnects by integrating ultra‐compact microring‐assisted modulators and interleavers. High‐baud coherent signaling achieves 400 Gb/s per wavelength and >$>$1 Tb/s multi‐channel transmission, with projected >$>$10 Tb/s per fiber, offering a path toward energy ...

A Fully‐Connected Chip‐Integrated Reconfigurable Mode‐Pairing Quantum Key Distribution Network
This work constructs a fully connected reconfigurable chip‐integrated quantum key distribution network via the mode‐pairing protocol. Hybrid ECL and WSS chips cut wavelength and port overhead, realizing arbitrary‐user key sharing with merely two wavelengths.

ABSTRACT As non‐terrestrial networks (NTNs) become integral to future 6G systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and service continuity over low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite constellations is essential. This work investigates the impact of open radio access network (RAN) functional splits on handover performance in NTNs, focusing on minimizing service ...

The Mirror DBMS at TREC-8. [PDF]
The database group at University of Twente participates in TREC8 using the Mirror DBMS, a prototype database system especially designed for multimedia and web retrieval. From a database perspective, the purpose has been to check whether we can get sufficient performance, and to prepare for the very large corpus track in which we plan to participate ...
