Extra-High-Voltage DC-DC Boost Converters Topology with Simple Control Strategy

open access: yesModelling and Simulation in Engineering, 2008
This paper presents the topology of operating DC-DC buck converter in boost mode for extra-high-voltage applications. Traditional DC-DC boost converters are used in high-voltage applications, but they are not economical due to the limited output voltage,

Enhancing Optoelectronic Properties in Phthalocyanine‐Based SURMOFs: Synthesis of ABAB Linkers by Avoiding Statistical Condensation with Tailored Building Blocks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

Inductor losses estimation in DC-DC converters by means of averaging technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A suitable inductor modeling for power electronic DC-DC converters is presented in this paper. It is developed with the aim of improving inductor losses estimation achievable by averaged models, which inherently neglect inductor current ripple.

Lipid Nanoparticles for the Delivery of CRISPR/Cas9 Machinery to Enable Site‐Specific Integration of CFTR and Mutation‐Agnostic Disease Rescue

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) are optimized to co‐deliver Cas9‐encoding messenger RNA (mRNA), a single guide RNA (sgRNA) targeting the endogenous cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene, and homologous linear double‐stranded donor DNA (ldsDNA) templates encoding CFTR.

Copper Doping Enhances the Activity and Selectivity of Atomically Precise Ag44 Nanoclusters for Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By a simple anti‐Galvanic reaction, up to six copper atoms could be preferably doped into the Ag2(SR)5 staple motifs and Ag20 dodecahedral shell of an atomically precise Ag44(SR)30 nanocluster. When anatase TiO2 is used as substrate, the (AgCu)44/TiO2 photocatalyst exhibited much improved activity in photocatalytic CO2 reduction compared to Ag44/TiO2 ...
