High frequency modeling of DC/AC converters
2005 European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications, 2005The paper proposes a new method to measure the high frequency (HF) current components in electronic converters and defines a model able to address the converter operation on a wide frequency range (100 kHz divide 30 MHz). The developed model is calculated by an automatic procedure that performs the measurements during the normal operations of the ...

AC/DC/AC converter based on parallel AC/DC and cascaded multilevel DC/AC converter
2012 Students Conference on Engineering and Systems, 2012This paper presents a single phase AC/DC/AC converter based on parallel AC/DC and cascaded multi-level DC/AC Converter. For a two-cell AC/DC/AC converter, two units of full-bridges are connected in parallel and two units of half-bridges are connected in cascade.

Single stage DC-AC boost converter
2016 7th Power Electronics and Drive Systems Technologies Conference (PEDSTC), 2016This paper presents a new DC-AC converter which not only acts as inverter but also boosts the output voltage with respect to input. This topology is cost-effective due to reduced switch number and it is suitable for compact design. Switching strategy in this topology is similar to conventional inverter and in each half cycle, boost operation is done by

Multipurpose half-bridge DC-AC converter
Proceedings of INTELEC 95. 17th International Telecommunications Energy Conference, 2002The power converter consists of a half-bridge MOSFET device with an appropriate driver, an output filter and a modulator. The load is connected between the center of the half-bridge and the center of the symmetrical supply. The dimensioning of the output filter and the modulator is especially treated.

Flexible multilevel boost DC-AC converter
2012 3rd Power Electronics and Drive Systems Technology (PEDSTC), 2012In this paper, incorporation of multi-output boost (MOB) converter by multilevel inverter is proposed. Renewable energy sources such as fuel cell and photovoltaic produce low level of voltage. So to increase the magnitude of the voltage, dc-dc boost converter is used.

Low MOSFET Count Isolated DC–AC Converter
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 2021This letter proposes a novel soft-switched single-stage-isolated dc–ac converter topology from the industry point of view. The proposed converter requires a lesser number of MOSFETs compared to a widely studied cycloconverter-type (CCT)-isolated dc–ac converter topology.

Bidirectional single stage isolated DC-AC converter
2020 IEEE KhPI Week on Advanced Technology (KhPIWeek), 2020A topology of bidirectional AC-DC single stage converter with galvanic isolation is proposed. The conversion is performed in one stage by using an original topology derived from LLC dual active bridge converters. By combining PWM and frequency control, it is possible to control conversion ratio and equivalent output impedance of the converter.

Multi-input direct DC-AC converter
2011 24th Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering(CCECE), 2011This paper presents a dynamic nonlinear model for Bidirectional Multi-Input DC-AC Converter and is used to meet the requirement of many Distributed Generation (DG) systems, such as Photovoltaic (PV) and Fuel Cell (FC) systems. The converter is analyzed step by step to show the principles of the operation in providing energy management based on duty ...

Universal Switched-Capacitor Converter for DC-DC, AC-DC, and DC-AC Applications
2019 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2019There exist many types and configurations of switched-capacitor converters. However, they are mainly designed for specific applications such as DC-DC or DC-AC (multilevel converters) power conversions. Consequently, they are inapplicable in situations that require multi-applications.
