Adiabatic DC-AC Power Converter with 99% Efficiency
This paper describes a novel approach to building a high efficiency and dimensionally compact power converter / inverter. A prototype was built for the Google / IEEE Little Box competition. The converter takes a 400-450 V DC input and creates a single-phase 230V AC output. It is capable of supplying 2kW continuously to a load.
