Engineering Tertiary Lymphoid Structures: Nanomedicine, Bioengineering, and Biomaterials for Precision Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This review explains how biomaterials and nanoparticles can be used to induce or modulate tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs), which are ectopic immune hubs that form in nonlymphoid tissues during chronic disease and cancer. By comparing different methods, the article highlights design principles for modeling TLSs or recapitulating specific TLS ...

An Exploratory Study on Graphene‐Based Hybrid Epoxy Coatings for Corrosion Resistance and Self‐Healing

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Corrosion of metallic process equipment in chemical, marine, and offshore industries leads to significant maintenance costs and safety concerns. Conventional epoxy coatings, though widely applied, often deteriorate under harsh conditions due to microcracking, moisture ingress and lack of self‐healing capability.

Improved Dry‐Pressing Strategy for Fabricating Double‐Sided Rough YSZ Electrolyte Thin Films and Their Performance in Solid Oxide Cells

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study addresses limitations of the conventional dry‐pressing method for electrolyte‐supported films—smooth surfaces, excessive thickness, and fragile supports inducing damage. We propose an innovative camphor–quartz sand composite architecture to construct a five‐layer (camphor/quartz sand/YSZ/quartz sand/camphor) system, enabling thin ...

Symmetry Control of Mutually Thermoelectric Conversion in Rutile RuO2

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, EarlyView.
We demonstrate that crystal symmetry can efficiently modulate mutual thermoelectric conversion. Longitudinal electric‐to‐heat conversion via the anisotropic crystal Peltier effect is observed in a RuO2 single layer without forming P–N junctions, and its dependence on crystal orientation is revealed by lock‐in thermography. Reciprocally, the anisotropic

The Newly Discovered Pathway for Oxygen Evolution Reaction: In‐Situ/Operando Characterization Techniques for Catalyst Development

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
This study introduces a newly discovered oxide path mechanism (OPM) for the oxygen evolution reaction (OER), emphasizing the role of in‐situ and operando characterization techniques in unraveling catalyst behavior under realistic conditions. The integration of advanced spectroscopic methods provides new mechanistic insights for the design of highly ...
