Condition Monitoring of DC-Link Capacitors in Aerospace Drives

In this scheme of UPFC the shunt converter present in the static synchronous compensator is operated as a current source rectifier, which maintains a fixed DC voltage and DC current on the DC link without capacitor.

A DC-link current study of the Capacitor Clamped Converter
2014 12th International Conference on Actual Problems of Electronics Instrument Engineering (APEIE), 2014This paper presents a DC-link current study of Indirect Matrix Converter (IMC) and Capacitor Clamped Converter based on IMC and Flying Capacitor (FC) technologies. Verification of frequency converter with small DC-link capacitor

By using MPPF-type capacitor the line current harmonic content is improved and the unreliable electrolytic capacitor can be omitted. Capacitance estimation of DC-link capacitor in brushless DC motor drive systems
2013 IEEE ECCE Asia Downunder, 2013This paper proposes a capacitance estimation method for the dc-link capacitor in brushless DC motor (BLDCM) drive systems.
