Adaptive Fuzzy Energy Management of Wind‐Battery Systems With Flexible Desalination Load
An adaptive fuzzy energy management strategy is proposed for a wind‐battery‐powered reverse osmosis desalination system. The controller dynamically adjusts the desalination load based on wind power availability and the battery state of charge to reduce battery stress.

Power Management in DC Microgrid by the DC-DC Converters
Abstract: DC loads have proliferated rapidly on the market today and DC micro grids with renewable energies are being built as a potential solution to meet the rising demand for electricity. As different energy sources such as solar, wind, fuel cell, and diesel generators can be incorporated into the DC grid, it is important to control the power flow ...

Physics‐Informed Neural Networks for Battery Degradation Prediction Under Random Walk Operations
ABSTRACT This study addresses the challenge of predicting the state of health (SoH) and capacity degradation in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) under highly variable conditions induced by frequent control adjustments. In environments where random walk behavior prevails due to stochastic control commands, conventional estimation methods often ...

ABSTRACT In privacy protection of control systems, a trade‐off between control performance and privacy level is often pointed out. Our goal in this paper is to improve this trade‐off by shaping the frequency of noise added for privacy protection when the control objective is to track a reference signal, which is taken as a piece of information whose ...

Decentralized Model Predictive Control of DC Microgrids With Constant Power Load
This article introduces a decentralized model predictive controller (DMPC) to ensure power sharing and regulate dc bus voltage in dc microgrids (MGs) with a constant power load (CPL). The proposed method replaces the conventional primary layer of dc MGs,
