A CMOS VGA With DC Offset Cancellation for Direct-Conversion Receivers [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, 2009
A CMOS dB-linear variable gain amplifier (VGA) with a novel I/Q tuning loop for dc-offset cancellation is presented. The CMOS dB-linear VGA provides a variable gain of 60 dB while maintaining its 3-dB bandwidth greater than 2.5 MHz. A novel exponential circuit is proposed to obtain the dB-linear gain control characteristics.

Controlling Transformer Magnetizing Offset Current in Isolated Phase-Shift Full-Bridge Converters Using a Luenberger Observer

open access: yesInternational Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems, 2022
This paper proposes a flexible digital control scheme for isolated phase-shift full-bridge (PSFB) converters. The required transformer suffers from inevitable imbalance of magnetic flux resulting in an increased magnetizing DC-offset current that ...

Iterative Synchronisation and DC-Offset Estimation using Superimposed Training [PDF]

open access: yes2007 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing - ICASSP '07, 2007
In this paper, we propose a new iterative approach for superimposed training (ST) that improves synchronisation, DC-offset estimation and channel estimation. While synchronisation algorithms for ST have previously been proposed in A.G. Orozco-Lugo et al. (2004), J.K. Tugnait and W. Luo (2004) and E.

The Gut–Heart Axis in Systemic Sclerosis: Evidence From a Large Prospective Early Disease Cohort

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Cardiac involvement significantly impacts prognosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc), highlighting the need for early risk stratification. Gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms are common and often manifest early. Emerging data suggest a link between GI and cardiac manifestations, possibly through shared mechanisms like dysautonomia.
